The student’s rhythm, they all have their own pace, beat and style. We encourage that individuality. By using our creativity, blending the world of music languages and finding a connection. The students proudly and in such a nurturing way, get ready to play the drums. Rhythm is the basic and first medium used to teach Music. Once the child finds his/her own rhythm it becomes easy for him/her to explore the advanced nuances of Music. And as the beats Bhoom Pa Bhoom Pa (Bass Tone Bass Tone) emerge from the Music Room, even the teachers in the other classes are swaying to the Rhythm.
The vibrations you feel when you enter the Holistic Yellow School are incomparable. The energy of the children when you enter the music class is top notch. Drumming is one of the best music activities for kids and can be performed by children as young as 6 years old. It helps to develop their gross motor skills, increase concentration, help with self-expression and teach them about rhythm. Music education involves identifying sounds, stomping feet, clapping, singing and dancing to understanding Rhythm Cycles, Notes, Scale, Pitch, Tempo and performance.
As the child grows older his/her listening skills become stronger, attention spans increase, calculations become comfortable and hand-eye coordination becomes easy. Music plays a very important role in these growth factors. Its an interactive way of teaching rhythm & movement. Bringing together cultures and diversity, which we as a international community school celebrate each day.
